What are the stretch ceilings?
A stretch ceiling is a suspended structure installed about 4–5 cm below the original ceiling. It is made from high-quality PVC film, which is heated and stretched into place. The ceiling is securely fixed to the walls around the perimeter of the room using special metal profiles, creating a smooth and seamless finish.

Preparation for Stretch Ceilings
What to Do First?
Do: Remove furniture, decorations, and fragile items from the room. Cover larger pieces you can’t move with protective sheets.
Don’t: Leave clutter or valuable items in the workspace, as dust and movement can damage them.
Do: Finish messy work like plastering, painting, or flooring before the ceiling installation. Ensure wiring, lighting points, and ventilation spots are ready.
Don’t: Install final light fixtures yet—just leave wiring accessible for the installers.
Do: Provide clear access for installers, including to the ceiling perimeter. Keep children and pets away from the area during installation.
Don’t: Block doorways or restrict workspace, as the team will need room for tools and ladders.
Installation process
Stretch Ceiling Fitting
- Installing the metal frame around the perimeter of the room.
- Setting up platforms for light fixtures in the designated locations.
- Heating the ceiling film and fitting it into the frame.
- Installing the light fixtures into the prepared spots above the ceiling film.
- Cleaning up construction debris after the installation.
